Description
Have you seen falling stars? You probably have - how suddenly, unexpectedly, a bright point flies across the sky, streaking the sky, and then disappears, goes out, only occasionally leaving behind a barely glowing trace...
Have you ever thought that souls may come to the earthly world in the same way, that, unable to hold on in the heavens and dying somewhere in incomprehensible spaces, they find the opportunity to incarnate here on Earth, from where the path back to heaven is very difficult, and the way of life is unusual and sometimes cruel for them - who until recently lived by other laws and in dimensions of other values.
And now the Earth is such a strange planet, where almost everything is bought and sold, even that which has no price; where there is a lot of space, but everyone is cramped; where the Sun is nearby, but how often we freeze, and where the stars shine for everyone without exception, but we do not dare to raise our heads and look into the impractical distance...
For them, life on Earth is a difficult test. And in order to endure it, they have to forget almost everything they lived for before, almost everything that seems so absurd and naive to us, because it is irreparably far away and unattainable for someone who now lives on Earth. And they can only hope that all this is temporary, that the duty will be fulfilled, they will be allowed to return... How? They do not know. Neither do we - those beings for whom they are here, whom they teach goodness and love, whom they teach to look at the stars. But perhaps it will be the same - as mysterious and elusive as the flight of a falling star.
I first started thinking about this during my years of study at the Moscow Planetarium, where I was lucky enough to be a member of the group «Alrado». It was not long, but it influenced my entire future life. The theme of this album was suggested by the wonderful songs of Andrey Fesenko, which I managed to realize in a completely wordless electronic form. The dramatic composition of Dmitry Gulyutin written in the same distant era perfectly complemented my melodies written both in the mid-80s of the last century, and new compositions. The work on the album was long, but it conveys the feelings and experiences of the soul "Born not on the Earth" all the more accurately.
Yours Andrey Klimkovsky
