Description

The «Milky Way» is one of the earliest plays by Andrey Klimkovsky, written back in 1984. In the same year, a young amateur of astronomy performed it at his first concert under the electric stars of the Moscow Planetarium.

For years, this music was forgotten, but in 1994, 10 years after writing, the composer returns to it and creates its first entry in the home studio. In 1997, the album of the same name consisting of the early melodies of Andrey Klimkovsky, but nevertheless, the musician continues to look for new embodiments of the composition and records all new versions of the «Milky Way» on a wide variety of synthesizers and in various styles.

No concert of Andrey Klimkovsky is held without the performance of this play and she is probably familiar to all listeners and connoisseurs of the composer's work. But until recently, most of the various versions of this composition remained unpublished. On the 25th anniversary of his first melody, Andrey Klimkovsky reanimated all the versions of the «Milky Way» and recorded another new one that opens this maxi-single.
