Description
Singularity is usually called a certain set of factors and conditions that exclude any possibility of comparing them on the basis of existing experience and predicting their further changes. Predicting the future is not an easy task in itself. There is an opinion that the fact of recognizing the details of the future starts the process of changing this future, and therefore no forecasts come true (except those that are based on the immutable and discrete laws of the Universe). But what will happen if they also turn out to be subject to unpredictable changes due to our confidence in their reliability?
An example is the transition from Newtonian physics to Einsteinian physics. And it happened when it seemed that people had found solid support in the knowledge of the Universe.
And the more such supports we feel, the more supports we lose. Sooner or later, a time will definitely come when there will be absolutely nothing to rely on — it turns out that not a single law is absolute, not a single model gives acceptable forecast accuracy.
Most of all, this concerns the forecast of human development. And we are one step away from the line beyond which nothing will help us to be sure of anything. All supports will collapse. There will be no prohibitions or recommendations. This could be called complete freedom, but it would be more correct to call it complete disorientation. It will begin with the fact that many people will cease to recognize themselves as people — something more will be revealed in them — something that does not fit into the concept of Human. The line of gender differences will finally be erased, and with it the usual patterns of relationships between people. The dual orientation from bad to good, from evil to god, from small to large will cease to be a guideline — there will no longer be such simple guidelines. And a huge number of people simply will not be able to understand what to strive for now. Suddenly it turns out that people who shook hands just yesterday no longer live in the same Universe. This was the case before, but their worlds ran parallel — almost coinciding, but now the speed of their scattering through probabilistic realities has acquired an exponential character. As we leave the house, we will increasingly begin to notice that yesterday these places looked completely different — did we dream about it all? And what will we see tomorrow?
This is the Singularitime — when the intensity of change greatly exceeds our ability to get used to it. But we will have to get used to this too — that nothing familiar will surround us anymore. And every moment will bring us what a whole life used to bring to people.
