Description

The first album from the "Parade of Planets" — a musical portrait of the planet Mercury. Music in albums by changing the very wide stylistic range from deep meditative mood, to hard trance grooves and in any stylistic manifestations largely experimental. The work on the album with Andrew Klimkovsky participated composer Vyacheslav Kulikov and guitarist Nikita Kalutsky.

Mercury — the first planet in the Solar System in the manner of calculation of the Sun, which means — closest to the day-star. Known to mankind for thousands of years, and at the same time trudnonablyudaema as not deleted from the sun more than 27 degrees. Planet owes its name to the character of Greek mythology, and later inherited by the Romans, and is the name of God — the patron of trade, enterprise, cunning and deceit, which to some extent corresponds to the "restlessness" of the planet on the sky, sometimes a week is not a planet passes in one constellation making a complete revolution around the sun in less than three months. Meanwhile, the spinning motion of Mercury is slow and all the sizzling Mercurial day is the world's third year.

In a small telescope, the planet is not a spectacular sight — its tiny disk visible only in the rare periods of satisfactory visibility of Mercury, but apart from a phase change (like the Moon, Mercury changes its appearance changing from thin crescent to crescent, and hiding behind the sun, in a full disk), even experienced observer will not see in the telescope eyepiece no details. Already very small planet, and large distances. Mercury half of the Earth, and in the best of days for observation divides us about a hundred million kilometers.

Perhaps even now we would have known about this planet quite a bit, but luckily in the mid 70's flying American interplanetary probe "Mariner 10" has brought a wealth of information about the Mercury. So people learned about the existence of an atmosphere on this small planet, the presence of a powerful magnetosphere and possible in the past due Mercury and Venus — the two components of the double planet once existed, but later disengagement by the gravitational influence of the sun.
