DreamOcean: On the Verge of Sleep

A foundational ambient masterpiece designed for deep immersion and restorative sleep.

The DreamOcean project was born from a unique sonic discovery. During a studio session, composers Andrey Klimkovsky and Vyacheslav Kulikov pushed their signal processors to their absolute limit, creating an extraordinary hall reverb effect with a decay exceeding two minutes.

Andrey Klimkovsky realized that such a grandiose, pseudo-acoustic space required a completely new approach to composition. For an entire month, he meticulously crafted "dispersed sequences"—musical structures specifically designed to breathe within this vast sonic environment.

The Result:

An experimental journey consisting of two long-form tracks. While devoid of traditional melodies, the music envelops the listener from the very first notes. It acts as a physical weight, calming the mind and gently pulling the listener from the edge of wakefulness into a deep, dream-filled voyage.

Originally recorded in 2001, this album remains a proven tool for overcoming insomnia and exploring the inner world of sleep.
