Description
Nature abhors a vacuum. The idea that an absolute vacuum could exist somewhere far from stars and planets has proven untenable. Even in the deep intergalactic space, we can't be sure that a pair of oppositely charged particles won't suddenly appear before our eyes, only to annihilate into nothingness the moment we look away from that point in space. But only until the next inquisitive glance.
Where do these antipodes come from? From the Aether...
Okay, okay, the Aether Theory is now rejected by science, although Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev — the author of the periodic table of chemical elements, better known as the "Mendeleev Table" — considered the existence of the Aether and even allocated a cell in his table for it.
Physicists also required the aAether to explain the propagation of electromagnetic waves through the void — at a time when the existence of a vacuum was still admitted, only to later vanish into oblivion along with the aAether itself. Although, admittedly, many physical questions still remain unresolved without the participation of the Aether, which doesn't exist, perhaps only because it doesn't manifest itself in the radiation spectrum accessible to us.
The Aether is all-pervasive — it can't be contained or experimented on. It is neutral on all possible scales of dual perception — it is not electrically charged, neither cold nor hot, exerts no pressure, and has no measure of inertia — how can it be detected with such qualities?!
Filling the entire space of the universe, it is not homogeneous. The fields created by the Aether are structured and multidimensional. They contain all the information of this World. All possible past and future events are recorded within them, and they materialize in our lives as we act.
Thoughts come to us from the Aetheric fields — both good and regrettable — for the Aether there is no good and evil — it is neutral even in this system of values.
All our discoveries and inventions, the plots of science fiction stories, and the scripts of unproduced films — we draw all of this from the Aetheric fields. Some people have an easier time doing this — perhaps some beings interact with the Aether unconsciously. But science is not yet able to confirm or deny this.
All our unfulfilled dreams, all the music we never wrote, live in the Aetheric fields — an inexhaustible resource. Invisibly to us, countless doubles of ourselves coexist in the Aetheric fields — one for each version of the Universe. The Aether separates them, preventing them from meeting. And only in dreams can we sometimes overcome this barrier.
Dreams are tunnels between the Aetheric fields. And through them, we can glimpse another version of ourselves attempting to understand a subtle slice of the Universe. When we feel sleepy and our consciousness begins to fade, the Aetheric fields become tangible. The information recorded within them turns be available to retrieved. Although the word "available" is inappropriate here — no one asks permission, and there's no way to avoid this encounter — the Aether simply fills you with everything it contains, as long as your consciousness doesn't resist such contact. And when you suddenly awaken from a fleeting dream, you're surprised to realize that you've gained something priceless in those moments.
Most of my music is written precisely on the border between sleep and insomnia. The melodies on this album are no exception. But another interesting encounter led me to record this album — my experience with the computer program «Etheric Fields», which creates unique soundscapes — unique landscapes of the sound world that can evolve endlessly, almost becoming music in themselves. I felt an irresistible urge to utilize this, and suddenly wrote all these melodies. They are completely new, born between November 22 and 29, 2020. Only the last track was written a year ago. I didn't know then which album it would be included in. And now this album has been found — «Aethereal fields».
