Description
The album «Extremal Forsage» was recorded at NEANE Lab Studio within November-December 2005. It includes both the newest compositions by Andrei Klimkovsky, and his very first compositions written two decades ago, but both of them sound unusually modern and melodic.
For the first time, the composer's new musical program was performed at the 3rd International Exhibition «Robototechnics-2005». Hence, the technocratic names of some compositions are inspired by modern achievements of science and technology. But no matter how the plays of Andrei Klimkovsky are called, they are always cosmic and full of romance.
When recording the album, the composer used the entire arsenal of his recording studio, and this time it was not only synthesizers, but also a live fretless bass, which the musician himself played for the first time.
In 2006, as a result of intensive collaboration between Andrey Klimkovsky and guitarist Julia Lomanova, as well as based on the materials and results of numerous concerts, a double album «ElectroDinamica» was recorded and released, which can be safely called the live version of the album «Extremal Forsage».
In 2010, an abridged version of the album «Extremal Forsage — Limited Edition» was released for distribution in online stores. It was also published as a DVD supplement to the Russian magazine «Fantastic World» - (issue for December 2010). This version of the album is distinguished by the absence of two tracks, updated continuous editing and notation on the front cover and apple of the "Limited Edition" disc.
