Description
«Star triangle» is a special page in the work of Andrey Klimkovsky. Some of the listeners will find the titles of some of the tracks on the album familiar. Other melodies will be unknown, new. But even those that are familiar by title will surprise you with their unusual sound.
In 2001, Andrey Klimkovsky takes on the musical rethinking of a number of his compositions — mainly from among those that have already become famous in the circles of fans of the electronic genre. It was necessary to breathe new life into them, paint them with new colors. But it would probably be trivial to simply remake, remix famous hits. Therefore, Andrey Klimkovsky devotes less than half of the sound space to this component of the album. The basis of the disc became new compositions — from among those that in the future will be included in some other — new albums. But Andrey Klimkovsky wrote 4 compositions only for "Triangle".
Another remarkable feature of the album «Star triangle» is the participation in the recording of very interesting musicians — Sergey Sedykh (electric guitar in the compositions «Triangular Navigation» and «We continue the search»), Gianeya Ruandil (flute in the composition «Andromeda») and Roman Kalinin (bass guitar in the composition «Sombrero»), as well as the use of new technologies of virtual-analog synthesis, on which the sound of the compositions «Milky Way» and «Starry Wind» is built.
The album, containing 14 tracks, became a record for the duration of sound — it was 80 minutes — and for many fans of electronic music became an example of the classical style in melodic electronics, and for composer Andrey Klimkovsky — a business card.
