Description
This CD contains recordings of two experimental recording sessions of electronic music spaced 6 years apart, but united by the same name - «Deep Cosmos». For the first time, Andrey Klimkovsky and Igor Kolesnikov gathered in the Studio on January 25, 2009, to realize the themes of «Deep Cosmos» in notes and rhythmic constructions. The session was interesting, but the duration was small for a separate publication on CD. And therefore, Andrei Klimkovsky indicated in his plans - in the future and complete uncertainty about the timing - the completion (completion) of the «Deep Cosmos» session before full-CD timing.
Andrey Klimkovsky undertook this work several times, and each time new tracks were born that were not suitable for the style and nature of the sound for this session - the tracks were postponed for other albums, and the musician began his musical searches again - it’s not so easy to catch the same mood, whose source went farther and farther on the time scale. In addition, working alone is not at all the same as working as part of an electronic duo that has worked for years.
And yet, exactly 6 years later - on the same day of the calendar on which the «Deep Cosmos» session was launched, the long work was completed and now the session is ready for publication.
In fairness, I must say that this CD is primarily dedicated to the new experimental finds of Andrey Klimkovsky - the «Deep Cosmos 2015» session, and therefore the «Deep Cosmos 2009» session is present on it as a bonus set of tracks. But together they make up something worth listening to this disc for.
