Andrey klimkovsky is a Russian composer working in the electronic music space. The album is based on a studio session recording experimental electronic music that took place on February 25, 2008.

Description

«Unwritten Script» — it's safe to say that of the first four albums by the electronic project «K-KVADRAT», this disc stands out for its distinct conceptualism and maturity. The project's members, Andrey Klimkovsky and Igor Kolesnikov, agreed that this music could make a good soundtrack for a science fiction film whose script hadn't yet been written.

Naturally, the friends had no intention of producing film soundtracks, but it so happened that on that day — February 25, 2008, which coincided with Andrey Klimkovsky's birthday — the musicians indulged in drawn-out, contemplative, ambient experiments, often straying so far from music that only abstract ambient sounds — the distant hum of the city, the fall of raindrops, the rumble of thunder — were heard in the studio's speakers. But at the same time, each suddenly emerging note inevitably acquired twice the musical essence and power.

And only the final, sixth track was born when it was time to go home—in the final half hour, the musicians managed to emerge from this viscous meditation and compose a simple yet life-affirming melody — «New Horizons».
