Description

This music album by the «K-KVADRAT» project differs in many ways from the two previous collaborative discs by Andrey Klimkovsky and Igor Kolesnikov. Here, the musicians briefly resorted to the traditional technique of creating electronic music — painstaking channel-by-channel recording, with each instrument being created and recorded separately. The recording process for each piece stretched out over days and even weeks. Only two pieces — «Dreif in the Gravy-Field» and «Beyond Horizon of the Reason» — were recorded in real time, the «K-KVADRAT» duo's customary mode.

It's significant that two of «K-KVADRAT»'s compositions — «Monorhythmic» and «New Horizons» — were in demand and included on compact discs released as supplements to the magazines «Mobi» and «AutoZvuk».

Another composition, «Relieve the Watch», was recorded relatively recently during a session called «Deep Cosmos» (which also released on CD), but it is presented here in a slightly different, reworked form. Together, these six electronic pieces vividly explore the theme of space travel toward the horizon of the Universe.
