The ninth and currently final album by the K-KVADRAT project, compiled by Andrey Klimkovsky from several experimental tracks recorded together with Igor Kolesnikov, resulting in a running time that increased from 17 minutes to over two hours. A true miracle of studio editing, created from nothing.

Description

«Theos» is the most experimental album of all the K-KVADRAT electronic project's records. Its recording was initiated on October 14, 2012, when Andrey Klimkovsky and Igor Kolesnikov reconvened in the studio — as was always the case — without any specific plans or intentions. But the recording process then took an unexpected turn for the musicians: instead of the traditional "real-time" session, they conducted a multi-track session — where a composition is recorded channel by channel, and none of the participants know what the final result will be. Only one track, «Chaos», was recorded that day. Andrey Klimkovsky mixed it himself. A little later, the musician realized that each of the parts recorded the day before possessed much greater potential, and by mixing them in different proportions, a variety of sounds and even completely independent compositions could be created.

In fact, the entire material on this double album is derived from just one studio session. And only the last track, «Kronosaurus», was recorded separately, albeit in a very similar way, but from other original audio tracks.
